It was the lush, wooded community and proximity to the ocean that drew the owners to this seaside town, just north of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. The fact that the home they found had been long neglected and poorly renovated over the last 50+ years didn’t deter them from seeing its potential. The material palette was carefully selected to be in keeping with the original character of the residence and create warm, vibrant spaces. These warm wood tones were paired with the charcoal millwork and stair volume to provide a balance of crisp modernism.
